Sistemele Megaplot Hotwire din seria MW sunt echipate cu 10 filamente încinse care se deplasează în coordonate X / Y și decupeaza polistirenul expandat (EPS) și extrudat (XPS). Viteza maximă de deplasare a filamentelor este de 1.500 mm / min.
